How is health coaching different from personal training?

Personal training focuses primarily on exercise programming and form during gym sessions. Health coaching takes a broader approach — we work together on nutrition, habits, mindset, sleep, stress management, and movement as an integrated whole. Think of it as having a guide for your entire wellness journey, not just your workouts.

Do I need a gym membership to work with you?

No, a gym membership is not required. While the Comprehensive and Premium plans include Exercise.com app access and optional in-gym sessions, the Foundations plan and much of our coaching work can be done entirely remotely. We can design a program around whatever equipment and space you have available.

How long should I expect to be in a coaching engagement?

Most clients see meaningful progress within the first 8-12 weeks, but sustainable change typically takes 6 months or more. All plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts — I want you to stay because you're seeing results, not because you're locked in. That said, I recommend committing to at least 3 months to give the process time to work.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies?

Absolutely. Every nutrition plan is built around your unique needs, preferences, and restrictions. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, dealing with food sensitivities, or following a specific protocol from your doctor, we'll create a framework that works for your life — not a rigid meal plan you can't sustain.

Can I switch plans after I've started?

Yes, you can upgrade or adjust your plan at any time. If you start with Foundations and later want the accountability of video calls or direct messaging, we can seamlessly move you to Comprehensive or Premium. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
